If you never visited Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea, this is an article for you. I want to present to you some of the features of nature you can expect if you decide to go yachting by Croatian coast. If you like yachting, you will definitely enjoy Croatia.

Every sailing route in Croatian Sea brings a new story. Croatia is famous for being the Country of more than thousand of islands. Can you imagine how many hours, days or even years you need to explore each island and their hidden bays?

It is not exaggeration to say that the Croatian coast is a nautical paradise. Sea, wind and sun will help you to relieve your stress. Sailing in the Adriatic Sea provides a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

If you don't have any idea where to sail we have one idea for you. You can sail around the Korcula Island. Korcula is the most populated island thanks to development of industry and tourism. The Korcula Island had many battles, revolutions and changes as no other island in the Adriatic Sea. The history trace is visible on each step, especially on the city walls. It is believed that Marco Polo was born in Korcula.

The climate on the island is very pleasant with lot of sunny days. It is very interesting that spring on that island arrives quite early while winter is still in the continental Europe. That means that winter starts quite late and ends very early. Summers are long, hot and dry. Wind called Maestal is unavoidable during summer afternoons. Lot of people think that autumn is the most beautiful season in the Korcula because of sunny days and chilly nights.

Vela Luka is the biggest town on the island of Korcula. The port in the town is a safe place to anchor your yacht. The town is made along the seafront line and there are many interesting bays in the neighborhood where you can sail.

Restaurants and bars will delight anyone interested in that kind of entertainment, but for those that are mostly interested in relaxing vacation, there are some popular resorts nearby.

The town of Korcula is situated on the peninsula that has a connection with mainland through the small bay. Not many people know the fact that town of Korcula was built in the fish bone shape.
