They're quiet and clean the glass perfectly as others have noted. The wipers clean your window great, and appear to be fine at highway speeds, however they flex a lot more than metal-frame ones and chatter after every stroke, that is getting kind of annoying. And if you're thinking about buying Chinese-made wipers--might as well try the ones in the exact same place that sells you toothpaste and pickles. I've had these for around 1.5 years, and they are virtually done.
I can not understand why that would be though, because it appears to be like they'd do the other way around--cheap window replacement Vancouver, right? I'd have taken them off quickly, however for a price I paid I could not force myself to discard these expensive wipers after a month. I have had them for around a month.
My complaint isn't with Amazon (service was excellant), something is wrong and I do not have an answer. These are the first auto body Vancouver wipers that I've ever used and wasn't initially sure how well they'd work because I'm accustomed to seeing the more rigid style wipers. Amazon wasted an incredible amount of resources, however the wipers are high quality.
Great product, particularly when utilized in conjunction with rain-x or similar products, it really works. Only time and winter will tell if this is a very good product.
They cost a bit more but they are worth the cash, I have put them on my vehicles. Recommended, plus they work great. I've cleaned them and they are still leaving streaks. The only real down side to this is the 22" on the Cadillac and Corvette don't make contact with the windshield when in "off" position; hence, only 4 stars. A year or more could be satisfactory for me personally. There's a hook cover that safeguards the main hinge from snow and ice build-up - this can be a nice touch.
Here in the tropics we get intense sun, in addition to frequent heavy showers and often acid rain from the volcano. They're easy to use and work wonderful. The passenger side blade does pretty well however the drivers side only contacts the glass on the final three inches of the blade. Then after a little longer, they'd start making noise/stutter a bit over the windshield (unless of course there is a lot of water).
Perhaps your better off getting the 18" dimension for your window pane replacement.
Also noisier than I like, but I have found mine. In contrast to conventional wipers, the twin springs keep the blade real taut -- the entire wiper is bowed from the package -- and it hugs the top of window evenly its whole length.
I am not sure exactly what the benefit of these wipers is...save your valuable money and stick with traditional wipers. I am not a large Vancouver auto glass wiper aficionado, but I figured what the heck. These were designed to match my automobile (02 Civic) based on the replacement window reviews. They work completely, providing a clean sweep each time. It wipes cleanly and chatter or miss spots.
