After speaking with a couple of glass repair retailers my expectations were fairly reduced: both of them asserted this quarter-sized bull-eye chip with star-burst cracks around it couldn't be totally fixed and would stay almost as visible as it was before the fix. They're ideal for cleaning up food spills on the counter; scrubbing dried spills on the ground; making a fast wipe-down of the rest room; using with cleaners on door knobs, handles, and so on. I am pleased with my buy. There is nothing perfect, however these are the most useful cleaning tools I've run across for a windshield crack.

Instead of previous car windshield crack repair microfiber purchases, these leave lots of lint & fabric. Great shower cleaners along with a must for the motor home- just rinse and wring plus they dry quickly.
These would make a great replace car windshield gift for just about any teen or adult. I've got a bigger star crack, and it was ineffective. I was a little skeptical of those kinds of fast fixes, however the item did what it was designed to. My insurance company refused to do anything more, declaring they were concerned about the structural integrity of the window! This product is what it was advertised for. Wipe down sinks and counters every evening, and absolutely nothing gets terribly dirty. I recommend. I reviewed several brands before I saw that one. Great item, made the crack on my car windscreen replacement much less visible.
Its an unfortunate commentary that anybody should be so excited that the item works as marketed.

So, my take on the car windscreen replacement product is it seems to be performing it's job, but I am not likely to be totally convinced until a couple of months have passed and it has not spread anymore.
