Perhaps more engineering must go into the item. I suppose I thought that I would go through them quick and after one wash they'd be ineffective, boy was I wrong. The Bosch are 10x better and therefore are less expensive in cost. I've tried a variety of wiper blades through the years, and these are of the same quality or much better than anything I have seen up to now. It installs effortlessly and it is solidly constructed. This didn't set up as hard or as quickly as it said it would in the instructions. But there you have it, nowadays a lot of products do not live up to expectations. Seem like I ought to have looked for something a little higher quality. You need to remove the rubber and 2 metal pices and then try to work them back in. Super absorbent, large, great for scrubbing without having to be abrasive. Nevertheless, they're nice looking and given Bosch's status I anticipate them to work just fine if I at any time need them.

These blades do not have that problem, but I did need to do windshield scratch repair after using them. And even though they are absorbent they're extremely streaky no matter the dampness of the rags. You're left with a very distinct windshield that can help you get where you are heading securely. A digital camera triangle is good to support the bag. Simple to set up too. Amazon's item fit/finder part of the car area said the Bosch Icon's would match my brother's 04 Grand Marquis however it has got the pin-style just like mine and they did not match (my mother has a spare set now lol). The inside of the windshield is going to be smooth. Have tried them for around four weeks now, in a mixture of Michigan ice, snow, and rain and working good. I recommend these cloths.

I end up needing to use a large amount of these for windscreen scratches when I could use just one or two more top quality microfiber towels. But over all this is an excellent product for an auto glass estimate.
